Avatar Project: Riding the Edge of Sustainability

A hybrid project blending critical essay thinking, creative design, and comparative analysis of diverse theoretical perspectives. This project applies the PQMA (Problem, Question, Method, Answer) approach to explore how extreme sports intersect with multidimensional sustainability—focusing on both personal and environmental well-being. Drawing from academic research, personal narrative, and theoretical analysis, it examines how high-risk physical pursuits like snowboarding, diving, and motorcycling can support mental health and promote resilience. Using textual and visual storytelling, the project interrogates the boundary between vitality and risk, asking whether the pursuit of danger can paradoxically become a form of healing and sustainable living.
